Holroyd Parramatta Goannas Auskick Info
The NAB AFL Auskick program is the Australian Football League’s key introductory program for primary school-aged boys and girls and their families.
Through our WEEKLY COACHING PROGRAM you’ll learn the skills of the game through appropriately modified activities and rules, play football in a fun and safe environment and make plenty of new friends too!
Auskick is about kids and their parents having fun and at the same time learning the introductory skills of AFL. Sessions are facilitated by an experienced coach/coordinator and the emphasis of each session will be for the kids to undertake fun activities with some emphasis on skills development.
By the end of the year the "Auskickers" will have been taught how to kick, handball, mark (catch) and bounce a football and will participate in Auskick exhibition football games (where possible).
Auskick, including exhibition games, is non-contact (no tackling or bumping) and non-competitive. As with all aspects of the program the aim of the games is for the kids to have fun trying out their new found skills with some mates.
